Orange Walk's St. Peter's Anglican School has improved accessibility to its classrooms - a much needed feature for five students who use wheelchairs.

This is after the installation of a sidewalk and wheelchair ramps that connect all four school buildings. The ramps as well as upgrades to the facilities were made possible through a donation from BEL.

St. Peter's is known for its inclusivity for special needs students with diverse abilities - a major focus of its former principal Special Envoy Rossanna Briceno. Currently, the school has an enrollment of 266 students, with 42 children enrolled in the Special Education Program.
