Specialist Scholarships For Doctors Trained In Cuba

Four Belizean Doctors have gotten scholarships to pursue specialist medical degrees in Cuba. The Cuban ambassador awarded the scholarship for three specialties: Gynecology and obstetrics, Nephrology, and Pediatrics. The doctors - who are not named in the release - all got their General Practitioner medical training in Cuba.

These scholarships are awarded within the framework of the Cuba-CARICOM Agreement.
