Earlier this week, training was held on Post COVID-19 Agricultural Value Chain Improvement in Belize" A project under the ministry of Agriculture, facilitated by the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project began in February of 2023, and since then JICA has worked closely with the ministry to identify and support value chains and three key crops in Belize. Coconut, Pitaya and Potato. Farmers from all 6 districts participated in both the technical and practical training. Here's more from the closing ceremony.
