Macmillan Education Caribbean has expanded it's "New Branches" Poetry Competition to an Upper Secondary category, expanding participation opportunities beyond the Primary, Lower Secondary, and Teacher categories featured in last year's inaugural edition. The competition opened just yesterday and the organization is calling for poetry entries based on 6 different themes. Today we spoke with Macmillan's Belize about the competition details and how you can enter.
This year's entries will be reviewed by a two-member judging panel comprising author, trainer and returning judge Julia Sander, along with Saint Lucian author and educator Mansha Hunte-Baptiste, who formed part of Macmillan Education's recent Caribbean Author Academy.
