List Of 60 COP Delegates Is Provisional, Not Actual, Ministry Says

Earlier this week we showed you a list of 60 delegates to the UN Climate Conference in Dubai.

The Cabinet Secretary said it's nonsense and mischief making and today an official government release said, more or less, that it is a provisional list.

The release states, quote, "There is no final list prepared for COP28. At the start of preparations, ministries and partners are asked to indicate initial interest in participating in the event based on thematic areas that will be negotiated. This list is revised and finalized only a few days before the COP." It adds quote, "ALL Government of Belize officials are funded by external sources."
