The Forest Department was at it again today - this time in Crooked Tree village.
Reports say Crooked Tree Police intercepted a pickup truck carrying Tinta fence posts without a permit.
Forestry was called in and we got video of when they were going through the logwood. The matter is still being investigated and a press release will be issued on Monday.
The department has been visible and proactive on enhanced enforcement recently, scoring with a number of illegal logging busts.
The public is urged to continue calling the hotline at 6101524 if they see something that looks illegal.
