It's been a vicious mosquito season and the complaint that we keep getting is that the Public Health Department isn't spraying. Well, the only advice we can offer tonight is to stock up on "fish" coils and be patient because there are only two spray trucks to service the entire Belize District. That means it may take a while for them to get to your area because the central region is divided into north and southside and spraying operations are conducted twice per day. For example yesterday on the north side it was Buttonwood Bay, Bella Vista, and Coral Grove. On the southside they sprayed West Collet, North creek, and Central American Boulevard. Today North Creek, Faber's Road, and Pen Road will got relief on the southside while Princess Margaret Drive, Saint Thomas Street, St. Joseph Street, North Front Street, and Douglas Jones Street will be serviced on the northside. Spraying is done between 4 and 7 am and 6 and 10 pm.
