4-year-old Leeton Galvez is still at the Karl Heusner memorial Hospital tonight in a comatose condition after being knocked down on Friday. Despite two CAT scans, doctors are still not able to determine the extent of his injuries and he is now in need of a costly MRI exam. His mother today appealed to any one who can assist to please do so.
Aldy Galvez, Mother
"He is not showing no kind of progress, none and the doctor told us that his born is torn apart and he needs an MRI to really know what is taking place with him and I really want my baby to get help. So if anybody is out there, I want the public to know that my baby needs help and I need a $1,200 to let the doctors know because they say his chances are 50/50 right now; one foot in and one foot out. I just hope that anybody who has mercy and can see how my baby is in here will help me because I really need help. I am begging help from anybody that is possible right now."
Alfonso Noble,
So you don't have any means of getting this money right now?
Aldy Galvez,
"No way. I don't have the finances to help my own baby and that is why I am on the TV to ask for help for my baby because he really needs this and without that money the doctors won't tend to him to let me know what really is taking place with him. He hasn't done any kind of moving from he came in here, my baby has shown progress to make me feel good you know; nothing at all. I can't take to see my poor baby like this on this bed. I know a lot of people have kids out here and they could think the feeling I have for my poor baby."
