As you just heard, there are now 1,101 confirmed COVID cases in Belize. Numbers released last night show that 261 samples were processed, and 51 positives came out of that batch. Six of those were from the Corozal district, including Ranchito, Paraiso, and Corozal Town.
There were 23 cases from the Orange Walk District, coming out of Orange Walk Town, and the villages of San Felipe, Yo Creek, San Jose, San Pablo, August Pine Ridge, and Trial Farm.
There are 5 new cases coming out of the Cayo District, including San Jose Succotz, Belmopan, and Santa Elena.
There are 3 cases coming out of Stann Creek, two from Independence and one border jumper.
And in the Belize District, there are 14 cases between San Pedro Town, Belize City, and the villages of Double Head Cabbage, Willow's Bank, Ladyville, and Burrell Boom.
There are presently 3 intubated patients at the KHMH and one highly suspect case at KHMH that also requires ventilation support.
