Health Min Tours Southern Regional

Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat will get his jab tomorrow in Cayo.

On Tuesday. He travelled to San Pedro where he toured a medical facility and observed the vaccinations of a number of the facility's staff.

And it seems the Minister is on tour, today he visited The Southern Regional Hospital where he joined Southern Regional Health Manager Dr. Franelda Guitterez in accepting a grant cheque of $398,500 dollars from the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Kazuhiro Iryu.

It's a cheque that comes as a response to a 2019 application made by hospital management and submitted to the Grassroots Human Security Project for much-needed ambulances.

The ambulances will be purchased and delivered to the Southern Regional Hospital within the next week.
