30 Year Old Prisoner Died At Hospital From A UTI?

A prisoner who was serving a sentence for manslaughter died earlier this week - and now his family is waiting for a post mortem to find out what could cause a 30 year old to expire so suddenly.

Gilberto Chanek from San Pedro Town was hospitalized at the KHMH last week Saturday and died on Sunday. Initial reports say he only had a urinary tract infection. Now, how could that cause the death of a 30 year old? Well, the CEO of the prison, Virgilio Murillo says that is why he also wants to see the post mortem. He said Chanek had been a sickly inmate who was in and out of the hospital medical center during his incarceration.

He was imprisoned in 2018 and had been serving a 15 year sentence for manslaughter.
