Teen Critical After Collission with Motorcycle

A teenager is in critical condition after he was knocked down off his bicycle by a motorcyclist.

He is 18 year old Romaldo Salam of Belmopan.

Police received reports of an RTA near Constitution Drive in Belmopan on Monday, and when they arrived at the scene they saw a 125cc Meilun motorcycle and a 24-inch bicycle on the edge of the road.

They also met Salam with multiple injuries to his body, and 26-year-old Jerry Alexander Sho the driver of the motorcycle who was also injured.

Both men were transported to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment, but Salam had to be rushed to the KHMH due to the seriousness of his injuries. Salam remains in critical condition.
