Air Forces Southern Commander Visited

He's the highest-ranking U.S. military official to visit Belize since 2019, and over the last few days, Air Forces Southern Commander Barry Cornish has marked that visit by meeting with senior officials from the Ministry of National Defense and Border Security as well as the Belize Defence Force.

And tonight in a press release the U.S. embassy says that the visits were meant to emphasize the strong and enduring partnership between the United States and Belize.

A release says Cornish's Air Force component conducts security and provides air, space, and cyberspace capabilities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
