There's a newcomer to the judicial ranks ready to take his seat in the magistracy.
Retired civil servant Winston Carr has been appointed to the magistracy by the Civil Service Commission. Carr has held numerous posts in the civil service among them serving in the very public post of the Head of the Elections and Boundaries Department until the mid 90's.
While Carr has been appointed he is still doing formalization duties and is yet to be posted to a court.
