The body of American tourist John Drest has still not been found. He went missing on Wednesday morning while snorkeling off the reef at Caye Caulker. He was with his brother Donald and his sister in law. Intensive searches have been ongoing, but there is no trace of the 68-year-old's body.
His brother, Donald Drest today told us that the family has just about given up all hope of finding the body. The family today hired an attorney and met with Tourism Director Tracy Panton. Donald says they want to make sure this tragedy is never repeated.
