Collapsed Culvert at Mile 11 Repaired

On Friday night we had late breaking news about another sinkhole that appeared on the Western Highway around 5:30. It happened around mile 11 where another culvert gave way, leaving the water that leaked out to erode the foundation for the highway. Well much later that evening, the Ministry of Works responded with a work crew. When we checked today it had been covered and showed no signs of vulnerability.

Junior Minister of Works Edmund Castro told us on Friday that a project will have to be carried out to check what he called failing infrastructure beneath the roadways.
