Logistics Minister Busy In Boardrooms

That was part of a packed schedule today for Minister Ferguson, and his new CEO, Marconi Leal Jr.

They also went on a familiarization tour of utilities under their ministerial portfolio.

They met with the executives of Belize Electricity Limited, Belize Telemedia Limited, and Belize Water Services Limited. All of these public utility companies were nationalized under the Barrow Government.

A government press release says that the visits acquainted Ferguson and Leal with the companies, and it also served to identified opportunities for growth and development in the utilities and logistics sectors.

Ferguson and Leal also met with the Public Utilities Commission, and the Belize Port Authority.
