He's gone from Belize Bank boss to Cabinet Senator, and now Eamon Courtenay has been replaced as Chairman of the Petroleum Advisory Board. It's a natural progression, because Courtenay could not sit in the Cabinet that the board must advise. The new Chairman is Lennox Neal and his deputy is Courtenay's replacement on the board, Cresencio Sosa, who is Ralph Fonseca's CEO in the Ministry of Public Utilities.
On Friday, some of the advisory board's most important work yet will be sent to the House as new petroleum legislation is tabled. At Friday's house sitting, government is also expected to introduce to bill for a 25 million dollar loan from Venezuela.
