But wile the PM has his plans to have her relieved of her post, it seems Narda Garcia also has hers. For the Prime Minister, the ideal thing would be for the embattled CEO to resign, but it seems, it might not be so easy.

Today Garcia called a managers' meeting in Belmopan. It went right through lunch and our reports are, it was made clear to the gathering that the Prime Minister did not have the power to remove Garcia, only the board did. And for tomorrow, Garcia has called in all managers countrywide for a meeting in Belmopan, and the board is expected to hold its own special meeting on Thursday...so CEO Garcia's fate will be determined over the next two days.

But whatever is decided, it's clear that Garcia feels she is being scape-goated for the policies and faulty decisions of others.
Indications are that she will seek judicial review against the findings of the Senate Special Select Committee and that she might not make it easy for the Prime Minister by simply resigning.
