And mentioned in Kaseke's application is that the policy architect behind securitization, the Minister of Finance and Social Security Ralph Fonseca was never questioned by the Senate Special Select Committee. Indeed, between Social Security and the DFC, Fonseca has been at the center of many intrigues but right now, most of the speculation surrounding his name has centered over whether or not he will retire from politics. You'd think one man who would have to know the definite answer to that question would be his boss, Party Leader Said Musa. But today he told us that he doesn't know, but "he feel soh."

Jules Vasquez,
Sir is it your feeling or expectation that Ralph Fonseca will retire from politics?

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"Umm it is more a feeling."

Jules Vasquez,
You feel that he will.

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"I feel that he will."

Jules Vasquez,
Are you surprised that he has not indicated this in numerous public appearances?

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"No I think it is entirely for him, the timing as to when he makes up his mind and decides."

Jules Vasquez,
But in your opinion would it be more auspicious for your party if he did declare his resignation from now and that the architect of growth economics would then no longer be an albatross, as the case is perceived by some to be, on the reputation of the People's United Party?

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"Jules I won't comment on that. That is clearly loaded with so many premises."

Jules Vasquez,
Would it be more politically auspicious if he did or is it politically neutral?

Rt. Hon. Said Musa,
"I don't know. I'll leave that to the pundits like yourself to work that out."

Fonseca has said that he has submitted his name as a candidate in the Belize Rural Central Convention.
