On Monday night you heard the Attorney General and PUP Chairman Francis Fonseca join his party leader and Prime Minister in frowning upon Elson Kaseke's defense of Narda Garcia. But those same two seem glad to have retained him in defense of the PUP's party organ, _The Belize Time_s.
7NEWS has confirmed that there is an application to remove the injunction against The Belize Times _at the Supreme Court and Kaseke will present the case for The Times. The Chief Justice agreed to hear the matter on Friday, but reportedly Dean Barrow, the attorney for Lois Young-Barrow has asked for an adjournment, because he will be traveling.
Kaseke hopes to present an affidavit showing proof to support their claims against Lois Young-Barrow, and in so doing, urge the Chief Justice to set aside the injunction.
