Jeffrey Prosser's battle for control of BTL continues on multiple fronts. Today his attorney Lionel Welch was back in court up against Rodwell Williams, the attorney for BTL. Welch told us what Prosser is fighting for this time.

"I will not be able to offer any more grounds than those that are already on the application which is simple, that there are Court of Appeal judgements which state that Prosser and Bobby Lubana, they are entitled to be on the board and Mr. Prosser being the non-executive Chairman of the board, definitely should be able to chair the board."

Is he trying to in effect take control of BTL?

"I think he has always been of that mind but I think the many court actions sort of prevent that view from the surface."

"I don't know what is Prosser doing. I have no brief from Prosser so I don't know really."
Lionel Welch,
"There are so many cases they have won in front of the Privy Council right now. There is also an appeal to the Court of Appeal and there's this one which is going on for the injunction and then there is also another case on the books."
And in addition to those multiple actions, we understand there are some new developments as well in U.S. courts regarding the case.
