In other legal news involving Government, more specifically NICH, the concession agreement with David Gegg continues to come under attack.
7NEWS has been informed that Dr. Elson Kaseke, acting as the attorney for Jaguar Paw Resort – which is based at Cave’s Branch has written to the president of NICH threatening to file for judicial review against the Gegg contract if it is not cancelled.
Kaseke’s letter argues that the agreement gives an unfair advantage to Gegg’s company in handling cruise visitors who to Cave’s Branch. Kaseke’s letter says that if the contract is not cancelled by Friday he will file for judicial review of it.
Our information is that the NICH board is taking legal advice on the question as to whether it is prudent to cancel the contract.
