UDP Orange Walk East Area Representative Marcel Cardona, he made history when he blasted the UDP from the backbench in late March.
Since then the UDP has concluded that he "constructively resigned" from the party and said that they don't want him in their backbench anymore.
The question then, for the past two months has been where will he sit?
He can't very well sit with the opposition - since he has not crossed the floor.
But it seems he will do so, sort of at least.
Friday May 13th is the first house sitting since March and information to Seven News is that a seat has been set for Cardona at the far end of the opposition backbench.
Now that backbench is not in use, since the PUP only has six representatives and they all sit in the front.
So Cardona's seat will be on their side of the house, yes, but a ways off from any PUP representative, presumably establishing his apart-ness.
And while that is where his seat is set, it is left to be seen if Cardona will even show up for what many might deem to be a humiliation - and if he does show up - if he will take it sitting down.
We'll be there on Friday for the House Meeting
