Due to political wrangling, it took some time for them to get into position - but they have, and today - one week before a municipal election - the new members of the Elections and Boundaries Commission were sworn in.
It happened in Belmopan at the Belize House, where Governor General Sir Colville Young swore in a new Chairman, Oscar Sabido Puga, along with PUP selected members Orlando Espat and Conrad Lewis, and UDP selected members, Phillipa Griffith Bailey and Alberto August.
