When it was time to vote on this bill, UDP Senator Michael Peyrefitte called for a division. After that process was completed, the bill passed with 9 votes in favor, 3 against, and 1 abstention. This means that the Central Bank Amendment Bill is now just awaiting the GG's assent to become law.
