And while Haylock stands by his belief that he was overlooked, Rossana Briceno is standing by her man. The Special Envoy for Families and Children was asked today if she and her husband ever had a conversation about his recent comments towards Jackie Willoughby. If you don't recall, the PM said in an interview that Willoughby should "shut up" as it relates to her views on the proposed salary cuts for public officers.

And while Rossana Briceno agrees that his choice of words may not have been the best, she still fiercely defended her husband.

Marisol Amaya- Reporter
"There needs to be more care, especially as our leader, when addressing women."

Rosanna Briceno- Special Envoy for families and children
"I totally agree with you."

Marisol Amaya
"But did you have a conversation with him to say that was not okay?"

Rosanna Briceno
"I speak to my husband everyday and I know my husband. And I totally agree with you."

Marisol Amaya
"That he erred in that instance?"

Rosanna Briceno
"I did not say that, you did."

Marisol Amaya
"But you said you agreed with me."

Rosanna Briceno
"No, I agree that sometimes we say things that we shouldn't say and you know the media will pick up and blow it out of proportion. My husband is a sensitive caring man as far as I know. He has done everything in his power to get where he is in terms of working hard. He has been super supportive of women. And you know, I think that maybe you need to ask him that question now."
