And while we're already seeing some industrial action by the PSU before the 21 days of notice are over, the first vice president, Dean Flowers, today alluded to it continuing for the remainder of the notice period.

Still, he refused to expose what the PSU has up their sleeves for when those three weeks are over.

What he did expose though was a letter from the labour department that makes it seem as though they will not convene the tribunal for this matter. Still, Flowers said that this won't stop the union's mandate.

Dean Flowers - First Vice President, PSU "I cannot and I don't want to let the puss out of the bag but I could tell you, most of our vehicle is on E, so that is your clue right there, most of our vehicle is on E and my radiator the leak and I always travel in rush hour when I do use it. We're effected a work to rule, so that in essence along the lines of go slow and so that will continue. We issued a notice of 21 days to strike. I can say to the media that we received a letter from the Ministry of Labour which purports to renege on its responsibility to convene the tribunal but I will not comment too much on that simply to say that we reject that and if it is that we have to declare another trade dispute this time against the minister of public service, we will do that but resist, we will resist and our legal team will be providing us with a response for the minister of labour who in accordance with section 11 is mandated, shall put together the tribunal but I'll be able to comment more on that after we received response from our legal team."

It has been only four days since the PSU handed in their notice of industrial action.
