And we posed this question to PSU's Dean Flowers. He told us that it's a matter of seniority, and that, in his opinion, it is the younger generation of PUP's that don't seem to know their roots. But while he criticized those junior politicians, he praised two of the senior ministers involved in the budget consultations.

Dean Flowers - First Vice President, PSU "You're dealing with a new set of PUPs. What we're dealing with today is a younger set of individuals who have now turn into ministers by virtue of political dynasties and I want to say to the Belizean people, in these reform measures we need to start addressing political dynasties because we're not getting leadership, we're getting dictators who believe they are entitled, I don't know if it's the manner in which they were grown but who believe that they are entitled and that they can speak down to people and so it's the younger generation of the PUPs that Lindo was criticizing because I'm sure and I will say without apology that they Hon. Fonseca and the Hon. Hyde have carried themselves like true statemen in every single interaction that I have had with them but cabinet decision is collective, so I guess they all carry the burden of these proposals."
