And in the House, Barrow was accused of not doing his homework in regards to the work that Bradley has done, even if it meant standing up to the party in power.

And after the meeting, the PM added that the reason they felt they had to bring back Bradley was because there was no succession plan in place.

"We have to understand, I think Channel Seven did a long expose on the work that she did when she was when she was retiring. You know, she was the one that went there and audited and did the tough work and work that then government was not too pleased about and they were used to attack her for that. And we want to bring her, we want her to continue to do the same kind of work. If they find anything that our government is doing wrong, they need to call us out. So that is the only way we can get governments to be able to walk the straight line."

When we asked whether the position was advertised, the PM simply walked away.
