Those Senators will definitely be relying on the legal opinion of King's Counsel Ben Juratowitch - who warned the government in April to stay far from that definitive agreement - advice which they ignored.

But, Ben Juratowitch is also government's attorney for the Department of Environment's Tribunal hearing the appeal made by Waterloo Investment;s - whose port project was rejected by NEAC.

But, this is the same Juratowich who the Prime Minister said misunderstood what he was instructed to do when he reviewed the definitive agreement. And he is also government's attorney before the ICJ. So, can he handle both of these legal briefs? We asked the Prime Minister who professional embarrassed Juratowich last time he spoke about him:

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"We have to get an attorney to represent us and that's what we're doing."

Reporter:
"Will his focus be pushed away from the ICJ?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Obviously not. The work for the ICJ, the hard work has been done, now the ICJ is having elections to elect new judges, I think that's supposed to be taking place sometime later this year, so they will be looking at our case next year so it would not in any way distract Juratowich."

Reporter:
"How confident are you given that you said he had misunderstood the previous assignment?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Yeah, that happens all the time. I mean, with people. We all… but we are very confident right now, he is laser focused on the ICJ and also on this issue with Waterloo that he has been, that we have had him involved from day 1 so he understands what is being done."
