Last week we told you about the move by UDP Leader Shyne Barrow to remove John Saldivar and Denny Grijalva as standard bearers. That's because they are both principals in the party's Caucus for Change - which seemed to be organizing an effort to remove Shyne Barrow.
Well, it seems both sides have agreed to a truce.
The Party's national party council has re-endorsed Barrow and the Leadership Executive until after the next General Elections.
An NPC resolution says, quote, "The NPC will not entertain any attempt to disturb the decision made by the Nation Convention on August 13, 2023 to proceed with the Party Leader and the Leadership Executive until after the next General Elections."
In exchange, the motion to remove Saldivar and Grijalva was withdrawn.
