But what the Prime Minister was more willing to talk about are the ads on television targeting his Cabinet - alleging that there is a narco minister.

The PM glossed over the questions of whether such a minister exists and jumped right to the far simpler issue of whether Belize is a narco state:

Reporter
"PM Is your Cabinet under attack with all these ads talking about a narco Minister in your cabinet?"

John Briceno, Prime Minister

"Again, I repeat, I would repeat it was reckless of the Leader of the opposition and the people that are putting those ads, it's reckless on them because they are not affecting the government, they are affecting Belize. We are nowhere close to being a narco state and they know it, but they are trying to get some kind of political support. What they are doing is that people are getting turned off by them with that kind of behavior. So I condemn that in the strongest way possible."
