The turmoil continues inside the UDP - as the party machine loyal to Shyne Barrow continues to purge standard bearers who they feel are not loyal to the leaders.

Last night, the standard bearer for Caribbean Shores, Andrew Bradley learned that he was being removed by a text message from the Central Region Coordinator, Melvin Huelett.

Tracy Panton today wrote to the Chairman to complain about Bradley's imminent removal.

She says, quote,"Please note that we do not subscribe to the interpretation of the Constitution that such powers reside with the Central Executive. It could never be that the Central Executive can simply overturn the result of a Constituency Convention whether contested or endorsed without reference to the NPC." End quote.

And, we've also seen a letter from Belize Rural South aspirant Danny Guerrero who says he's moving on due to the state of the party. He was likely to be removed anyway, we are told.
