Still, the National Trade Union Congress of Belize is not giving up on the fight to reverse Government's 6.9 million dollar purchase.
They have now written to the Contractor General Maria Arthurs asking her to conduct "an immediate and thorough investigation into the procurement process related to the acquisition of" that hospital land.
They are, quote, "demanding that her findings be published within two weeks of receiving this letter, and earlier if possible."
We know that the NUTCB has also retained attorney Darrell Bradley to help them mount a legal challenge to the land purchase.
