Territorial Volunteers Vex With Francis

As you might expect, the Belize Territorial Volunteers were not impressed with that lukewarm statement. They put out a press release today saying, quote, "We are deeply disappointed with the recent address delivered by Belize's Foreign Affairs Minister at the United Nations. This was a crucial opportunity to bring global attention to the ongoing injustices faced by Belizeans in the Sarstoon area...The world was eagerly awaiting an update on this matter, but the current Minister failed to seize this chance. Instead of addressing the alarming situation where Belizeans are being assaulted by the Guatemalan Armed Forces, he chose silence, neglecting his duty to inform and advocate for our people." End quote.
