Untitled Document And while Riverol wasn't sure where he stood, UDP Stalwart for Corozal Bay, Hilberto Campos won't be on the ballot this year, but he is on the campaign trail with Riverol.
While Riverol didn't want to declare which UDP leadership he aligns with, Campos, who is managing the campaigning committee told us that they are under the leadership of Tracy Panton.
Hilberto Campus, UDP Campaigning Committee
"I think it's clear we are with the party leader, the United Democratic Party leader, Ms Tracy Panton. I think the vast majority of the members of the UDP expressed in October that we want her as the interim leader and I am glad to say that in Corozal bay we have one United Democratic Party, one candidate and that is the bottom line."
"I respect the decision or the comments of Hugo Patt of Course, but I could tell you that it is obvious and it is clear how many candidates are there for the United Democratic Party in Corozal bay, one and that is Hernan Riverol, we are with the party leader. I respect Tracy Panton as my party leader and that is the bottom line. I would like to flip the script and ask you why is there no other candidate for the UDP? There is only one UDP. Corozal Bay is UDP, Hernan Riverol that's the candidate."
