And the scene outside of BTL today has played out somewhat similarly before. Back in 2005, BTL employees gathered outside the Esquivel Telecom Center right there on St Thomas Street. They did so in protest, demanding that they had a say in who would own and operate BTL - and, of course, the Ashcroft Alliance was at the center of the dispute.
