Belizean Lionmen in Costa Rica

It's been going for seven years, and the lionman triathlon competition held in September has become a premier event on Belize's sporting calendar. Now, the popularity of the event combined with the excellent performances by the participants has the organizers of the triathlon fixing their eyes on bigger prizes than the ones given in Belize. Yesterday a Belizean contingent of tri-athletes headed to Costa Rica for competition in the Central American games. The competition takes place on the 5th of this month.
