Belize Will Play Home Game Against Mexico in L.A.

On Friday Belize’s national football selection returned to Belize after drawing game two of its World Cup qualifying match against St. Kitts. It was with little fanfare but our team returned as winners. The draw was Belize’s ticket to the next round where we’ll face regional powerhouse Mexico.

And once again, Belize won’t be playing its home game in Belize. That’s right, reports on the internet are that Belize’s home game will be at the Los Angeles Coliseum on June 15th.

Football Federation of Belize President Bertie Chimilio says the venue isn’t confirmed but it is being considered. We’ll have more on the story tomorrow as a press conference is scheduled for tomorrow evening.
