Anthony Michael In, Vandley Jenkins Out at Sports Council

Former UDP candidate for Lake Independence Vandley Jenkins has been Director of the Sport Council since the UDP came to office. As a former footballer the job was seen as a neat fit for Jenkins. But he only got a one year contract and 7News has confirmed with sources in the UDP that the contract has not been renewed. The man rumoured to be his replacement is another “former” – the former candidate for Mayor Anthony Michael. We could not reach Michael for comment.
