Volleyball Girls Come Home With Pride

Belize's under 17 female volleyball team returned from Nicaragua this evening after earning bronze in the regional championship tournament.

It's not the gold which the under 21 girls won recently here at home - but this is a young team, with many of the rising stars just in their early teens. The Belize girls also won 6 of 12 individual awards.

They returned home today and 7news was at the airport:

Costa Rica won gold in the tournament while home team Nicaragua won silver.
