And finally tonight, Hurricane Beryl might not have brought even a raincloud to Belize, but that didn't stop the country from preparing for the worst. And not also served as a dry run. So, now the Mayor knows that - God forbid - if a hurricane were to head our way, the City Council would be ready.

"As prepared as we could be, our pumping station is working great, all four screws are functioning, that has been signed off by the MIDH team, we have our engineers there as well, and as you could see when the rains came, I believe over the weekend, once it's torrential rain, it's climate change you have to live with that but as soon and the rain has subsided you will see the water run off, that is an indicator that our drainage system is working."
