In January, as part of its 10th Anniversary celebration, Bravo motors launched a raffle for a Nissan frontier. 8 months and thousands of tickets later a winner was selected at this year's expo. Today 24 year old Amilcar Choc today claimed his prize at Bravo's offices on the Western Highway. The young man says he's still in shock that he won the 48 thousand dollar vehicle:

“I feel shock you know. I feel excited. I never thought that I would win the truck you know. I found out when I came home. I see my family just yelling at me and shouting that I win myself a truck.”

“We did it as a marketing exercise. We did realize that there was the possibility that we could make a profit from it but because it’s something that the entire general public contributed to, we decided; very early on if we do make a profit we want to donate the proceeds to a worthy cause. So much so that even if we didn’t make a profit we still guaranteed that worthy cause a certain amount of money. Cancer Society will be collecting a check.”
“This is going to be an annual event, we are already sitting down with our partners discussing the strategy for our next big raffle that will take place very shortly. Bravo Motors won’t rest until everybody in Belize drives a brand new car.”
As part of the prize, the vehicle has been insured for a year and is under a 3-year warranty.
