ICC: Prosser Didn't Default on RBTT Loan

Jeffrey Prosser did not default on his debt to the Royal Bank of Trinidad and Tobago. That's what ICC's Vice-President of Public Relations Rene Henry said today in a press release refuting stories last night on Channels 5 and 7.

The release says, "this claim is entirely untrue Prosser and his companies, ICC and Belize Telecom Ltd, enjoy a close working relationship with RBTT and they continue to work together for a comprehensive and satisfactory resolution of financial arrangements related to BTL and Intelco."

We note that after getting the story from an initial source, we confirmed it with a senior government source who confirmed that government had been advised of a default yesterday.
