BTL Fires Back at Mayor Zenaida Moya

Last night on this newscast Mayor Zenaida Moya complained about BTL's lack of participation street-paving efforts. Well today BTL fired back. The company sent out a release in saying that it has been assisting the council with parks, and other matters including City Hall's phone bills! The release says BTL has extended credit for telephone services rather than disconnecting for non-payment. The release concludes that "we hope that Mayor Moya will be sure of her facts and be more charitable with her own comments in the future."

Considering past history between Moya the unionist and BTL it might not be a stretch to say that the present tense and the past imperfect might be related.
