CBC Cable makes peace with Channel 7 and KREM

Tonight we welcome back viewers in Mahogany Heights, La Democracia, St. Matthews Village, Cotton Tree, Armenia, St. Margaret’s Villages and Dangriga Town. They’re back because CBC Cable has restored the Channel 7 signal and in most parts the KREM signal that had both been blocked out on August first. CBC’s reversal of position its comes after the Broadcasting Authority reminded the company of the obligations under its license. KREM and Channel 7’s signals to those communities had come on line in early June and were taken off at the end of July, 2 days after the company received a license to connect the villages.
