The price of chicken has decreased. The Poultry Association today announced that the wholesale price of chicken has dropped 6 cents - from $2.44 a pound to $2.38 a pound. The reduction is possible because the cost of imported protein inputs have decreased. The association says it is only right they pass on the decrease since they passed on the increase earlier this year.
