Shortly after Prime Minister John Briceno returns from Glasgow, Scotland from COP-26, he will lead the first-ever Belize Investment Summit.
That's an event that the Briceno Government is hoping will jump start the Belize investment climate
That 2-day event is scheduled to take place next Wednesday and Thursday on San Pedro.
This morning, 2 officials from BELTRAIDE were guests on Sunup on 7, and they shared details on how the summit is expected to work next week:
The BELTRAIDE officials also drew attention to a competition which the Government is holding. Belizeans with a strong idea for a start-up company will be able to make a sales pitch, and if they are selected, they will get access to almost 10 thousand US dollars in funding. They explained how the competition works:
