For months now, the price of fuel has been trending up despite the gas pain of Belizean motorists. Well, drivers will finally get an ease; the pump price of diesel will decrease by an entire dollar and 25 cents at midnight tonight.
That's when the price of diesel will decrease from 11 dollars and 70 cents to 10 dollars and 45 cents. The price of all other fuel products will remain unchanged.
GOB says that this new price reflects the current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international market, as well as fluctuations in the acquisition price in the countries from which Belize gets its supplies.
Premium gasoline, regular gas, and kerosene will remain unchanged at 12 dollars and 49 cents, 11 dollars and 77 cents, and 8 dollars and 42 cents, respectively.
